And again a year older! The years are passing faster and faster...:) Today I decided to cook my favourite meal. I don't know how it's called in English, in German its name is "Wiener Schnitzel", in Hungarian "Rántott hús". It was accompanied by good old Swiss Rösti and a wonderful Pinotage from South Africa. Oohhh, was it good!

This week I heard, that in town is a funny movie, a french comedy. I plan to watch it shortly, because I want to laugh again and I used to laugh at of my best on french comedies. Maybe next week.

Hallo Laszlo,

Glad you had a nice day. Impressed with the Pinotage from South Africa. Care to share the name / wine farm?

Regards,

Hello Vernon,
no idea, which name the wine has could have. There's passed more than a half year, so I forgot the name of the wine. In my opininion in South Africa they produces many-many great wines. I especially appreciate Noble Late Harvest. I like it more than a French Sauternes because it has the same sweetness, but the difference is: it is more fruity than a famous Sauternes.

Regards,
Laszlo

Hi Laszlo,

Thanks on the heads-up on our local wine. It is indeed one of our high-level Western Cape export products. I was in Prague a couple of years ago and to my surprize they had a Cape red wine on the menu.

for the life of me I cannot remember the wine farm now, but I know it was a very well known local pinotage.

Cheers,
Vernon

Hi Laszlo,

Thanks for the greetings. Wishing you a fabulous 2010 with your Cuvée.

I now remember the wine i had in Praque. It was a South African Drostdy-Hof pinotage. It was quite peculiar to see it on the wine list. In most SA / local restaurants (at the time) it would not have made the list as it was perceived (at least by me) as an entry level wine. But there it was well published and very expensive compared to most other European wines on their list

Go well,

Vernon
